We provide an online tool that extracts text from documents and images you upload ("the Service"). Free, Starter, and Professional plans each come with their own document, file-size, and feature limits, described on our Pricing page.
You retain all rights to the documents and images you upload. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to upload and process any content you submit. Don't upload content that is illegal, infringes on someone else's rights, or that you don't have permission to process. If you use the "email a scan" sharing feature, you're responsible for only sending it to recipients you have the right to share that content with — don't use it to send unsolicited content to people who haven't agreed to receive it.
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via our payment processor. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account page; you'll keep access through the end of the billing period you've already paid for. We don't provide prorated refunds for partial months, except where required by law.
Word credits are a separate, one-time purchase — not a subscription, no recurring charge, and they don't expire. They're redeemable only against the features described at the time of purchase and aren't refundable once used.
Usage limits (documents per day/month, file size, etc.) are enforced per plan. Attempting to circumvent these limits — for example by creating multiple free accounts to bypass quotas — may result in suspension of access.
OCR/text-extraction results are provided "as is" and may contain errors, especially for low-quality scans or uncommon scripts. The Service is not a substitute for professional transcription or translation where accuracy is critical (e.g. legal or medical documents).
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
